Art Direction: Lego Turkish Airlines Safety Video 2019

I had the pleasure of art directing this second Lego Turkish Airlines Safety Video. My team and myself worked hard to design the multiple environments, Turkish Airlines characters, props and 2D as well as 3D animation aspects and more. I can’t commend enough the great people who work at Animal Logic and the fun direction we had working with the Warner Brothers team.

Lego Turkish Airlines Safety Video 2018

I worked as the concept artist under Kim Taylor’s art direction on this airline safety video made for Lego and Turkish Airlines. Aspects I designed include most of the graphics (booklets held to screen, graphics on the plane and props), designs for the Turkish Airlines characters, all of the 2D animated sequences and some of the environment design including the plane interior and seats. It was a challenging and fun project where a lot of thought had to be put into how to adequately communicate the safety features of the airplanes whilst in the medium of Lego.

It received a CLIO award in 2018.

The Lego Ninjago Movie

I worked on a lot of The Lego Ninjago Movie for which I wish I had the artwork to share with you. I had the pleasure of designing multiple aspects of many characters and some environment design and dressing.

The Lego Batman Movie

I had the great pleasure of working on many of the The Batman Movie characters. Some samples of my work is below.
